This installation was carried out locally to our offices for a well-established agricultural dealership looking to reduce its energy consumption and long-term operational costs. We were asked to maximise the roof space on one of their newer buildings with a large solar array, paired with over 30kWh of battery storage.

Following one of our detailed site surveys and a full digital model of the building using our MCS-certified design software, we developed a custom system tailored to the site’s layout and energy needs. The final installation consisted of 144 Longi 530W panels, managed by two 20kW Solax hybrid inverters and the associated battery storage. What makes this system particularly effective is its integration with the customer’s existing large diesel backup generator. In the event of a grid failure, the batteries will power the building until they are depleted. At that point, the generator automatically activates, taking over the load and simultaneously charging the batteries. Once the batteries reach a preset state of charge, they resume powering the building, ensuring seamless operation and energy resilience. This smart, hybrid setup offers the customer a robust, efficient, and future-proof energy solution.
